Protocols Are Failing
We seem to be in a time-warp from the era of common sense to the era of common nonsense!
Senator Booker and Senator Warren who are both fully vaccinated and caught up with all their requisite booster shots recently contracted COVID. This is a common and recurring situation within the world population and particularly in America. There is a technical term used to refer to this condition when a fully vaccinated person contracts the virus for which they took the vaccination to prevent infection by the virus. It’s referred to as a breakthrough infection. To refer to the language of the CDC: An infection of a fully vaccinated person is referred to as a “vaccine breakthrough infection.”
Now this might be mildly frustrating for individuals that have banked all their hope and trust in the vaccines as the way they were going to save themselves from the terror of COVID, but the situation is much more serious at the national level and even around the world. The language and discrimination against those that are unvaccinated is completely unwarranted given the continuous experience of the vaccinated.
A significant problem is the confusion of traditional vaccines that addressed viral agents without animal reservoirs and the vaccines that we have encountered directed at COVID which were developed rapidly during 2020. The primary effect of the COVID vaccines is to diminish symptoms experienced by a patient to the virus by some percentage. The attenuation of symptoms is not synonymous with transferring immunity to the patient. Of equal importance is that the diminishing of symptoms does not reduce a person’s ability to transfer the infection to another. Quite the opposite will be the case given the protocols being put in place. Let me explain.
Within the workplace there are now two distinct populations. One is the unvaccinated and their numbers are small by comparison to the total population. The other population is the vaccinated. Now at this time there are distinct rules for these two unique populations:
Vaccinated are allowed to transact in the workplace without restrictions. They are not required to test for COVID (even though they can easily catch COVID and transmit COVID into the workplace). They are given privileges because they have been compliant with the orders of government authority. Following government orders has its rewards it seems.
Unvaccinated, if they are allowed within the workplace are mandated to test for COVID multiple times per week and to wear masks while within the workplace. The unvaccinated in the COVID world are no more or no less likely to contract COVID than their vaccinated counterparts. They may have more pronounced symptoms, but as the COVID virus continues to mutate, the symptoms are becoming less severe for all who contract COVID - As a resperatory disease, it is becoming more like a mild case of the flu - though with more significant transmissibility than traditional flue.
An important consideration of COVID infections within the workplace is that a great majority of those infections will be attributed to the “breakthrough cases” since the only individuals that are entering the workplace without masks and without testing and with no better immunity than their unvaccinated co-workers are the vaccinated. When the vaccination operates as it is advertised, the vaccinated may experience mild and nearly unrecognizable symptoms (asymptomatic) as they enter the workplace, and unintentionally delivering and spreading COVID within the workplace. This would seem to be obvious to workplace health and safety staff, but it appears to be a straightforward logical conclusion that has thus far eluded their perception.

It is written by Deane Waldman, M.D., MBA who is Professor Emeritus of Pediatrics, Pathology, and Decision Science; the former director of the Center for Healthcare Policy at Texas Public Policy Foundation; and the former Director, New Mexico Health Insurance Exchange. She has some valuable points to make regarding the infection, immune protection, natural immunity, and asymptomatic COVID infections.

Immune protection. In those with intact immune systems, viral infection first induces protective antibodies and later T-cells and B-cells. Antibodies gradually fade months after the infection, but the T- and B- killer cells retain the memory of the viral signature and provide long-term protection. This is called natural immunity.
When enough people have acquired such post-infection (natural) protection, herd immunity stops viral spread.
A natural immune response occurs when the killer cells’ memory sees any one of the numerous viral protein “spikes.” Vaccination with mRNA gene therapy teaches the immune system to identify and respond to only one protein spike.
Natural immunity is stronger and more protective than mRNA injection, even with boosters.
The precise number of Americans with natural immunity is grossly underestimated because the true number of COVID infections is not known. For the first year of COVID, only symptomatic patients were tested. How many asymptomatic COVID “cases” were never identified? Almost certainly, tens of millions,
The federal government minimizes the number of asymptomatic COVID infections because of natural immunity. Washington even denies natural immunity’s protective nature. Admitting this would reduce the fear factor.
Physicians who still practice medicine cannot afford to write or say the following for fear of being canceled. As a retired physician, I cannot be coerced to keep silent with threats to my medical license or hospital privileges.
The COVID “pandemic of fear” is a con, perpetrated by those in power to extend and expand their power. Their scheme is simple. Take a new flu-like respiratory virus created in China, COVID-19; tout it as a threat to all human life; suspend (temporarily, of course!) personal liberty and freedom; then justify their tyranny by asserting a need to protect all Americans from death by virus.
When the threat recedes, redefine the terms, demand vaccine passports, and booster shots to maintain public fear. As new viral variants evolve such as Delta or Omicron, resume draconian measures including masks and lockdowns, more boosters, and loss of employment if unvaccinated.
