Make California a Transgender Sanctuary Enabling Children with Gender Dysphoria to Travel to CA and be Mutilated by Non-reversible Surgery without Parental Consent

The problem with California is the government, not the state. On August 31, the Democrat-controlled Senate hastily passed SB 107, with a vote along party lines of 30-9. SB 107 in effect, creates a Transgender Sanctuary that prohibits California medical workers from responding to any subpeona from another state for medical records regarding any gender-affirming care.
The bill passed in spite of testimony against it from one young woman who experienced the life changing effects of ‘gender-affirming’ treatment that destroyed her life, or doctors who were both for and against the surgery and puberty blockers. When the leftist juggernaut is rolling, it rolls right over the top of common sense.
This law entices minors seeking gender interventions against their parents’ wishes to run away to California. So if parents disagree on whether or not to permit their 14-year-old daughter to have her breasts removed and the offending parent and child arrive in California, California will decide which parent gets custody. We parents know who will win that battle. Pursuant to Family Code 3428, it is not kidnapping if the non-custodial parent absconds with the gender-confused child to California. This is a direct assault on the family and the bodily integrity of children.
When one of the sponsors of the bill was asked what the age of consent was in the bill, he did not answer. There is no age limit in the bill. The entire bill is predicated upon the emotion of “well we don’t want anyone to hurt the LGBTQ community.” Unfortunately, no one is thinking clearly enough to understand that it harms children who are no longer allowed to grow up without the interference of the state.

My parents were told that the options were transition or suicide. They complied because they were not offered any other treatment solution for my distress. My distraught parents wanted me alive, so they listened to my doctors. I was placed on puberty blockers and testosterone after expressing my gender dysphoria to my therapist, and I was approved for a double mastectomy all by the age of 15.
Who here really believes that as a 15-year-old I should have had my healthy breasts removed or that should have been an option? The left claims it’s reversible no problem. But having your breasts removed is not reversible. You can get fake ones, but they’re still fake. The trend to destroy children who suddenly feel “different” without allowing them to just grow up is tearing apart the fabric of societies worldwide.
Gender Dysphoria is increasing exponentially within the nations youth and a huge catalyst is the social media virus that has totally infected so many. From Instagram to Tic Tok, there is increasing emphasis to conform with others that are “expressing” their gender confusion and to “solve” by conforming to a protocol that proclaims that the root cause is the person is existing within the “wrong gender.” This is completely wrong and its a textbook example of calling a bad thing a good thing.
