Things that don't work
From using the "I don't recall phrase" while testifying under oath to the convenient failures of "machines" in statistically improbable levels, corruption is now maxed out!
Too Many Things Are Not Working Now
There are so many things that are not working properly. It does not seem that long ago that when people were put under oath to testify, that they would speak truthfully and with good reason. They knew that they would be held accountable for their words and that the system of justice would not favor dishonest testimony. Now aside from eternal judgement, the concept of near-term civil judgement generally seemed to work pretty well. Individuals that were under oath used the opportunity to come clean and to throw themselves at the mercy of the justice system and presumed that by being forthcoming in their testimony, that there would be some leniency and accommodation when the time rolled around to sentencing.
By every possible conceivable perspective, that world does not exist today. We are living at a time when lying in an obvious and deceitful way is preferable it seems to telling the truth. We are living at a time when there is no regard for honor or for character in motivating the the truthfulness of the person speaking. This is especially true when the narrative that is shared synchronizes with a storyline that favors the powerful staying in power. Nothing else seems to matter.
So as we consider the completely illogical conclusion regarding simultaneous failure (and the most inopportune time) of hundreds of electronic voting machines or the creative amnesia of those who are subjected to testimony under oath, we can be assured that underneath it all is a correct outcome and one that favors those in control. Nothing else really matters.
