Who is Ray Epps?
Who is Ray Epps and what is his connection to the January 6th events at the Capital?
This is a photo of Ray Epps who was “instigating” violence within the crowd gathered at the Capitol building on January 6, 2021. He is in many videos and can be heard giving orders and instructions to people, but has not been brought in for questioning.
A lot of the footage that is aired on all kinds of different channels was shot by a man called Elijah Schafer, a reporter in the crowd that day, and he’s followed the aftermath of that day as well.
Elijah Schafer happened to be standing very close to a man called Ray Epps, who is a leader of what we’re told is a right wing extremist group. Ray Epps has not been indicted. Based on what Schafer saw, personally, did he perceive that Ray Epps was encouraging people to break the law that day?
100 percent. I did not see any violence occurring in the beginning. Schafer went on to say that he I did not think anybody that was at the frontlines, went with the intent to do anything other than to protest peacefully.
There were barriers all around, but there was one individual in particular who was whispering in people’s ears. That was Ray Epps.
Yet the very people that instigated the attacks, the ones who pushed the barrier, the ones who were being prosecuted for injuring a capital officer, a female who wasn’t wearing a helmet, who still has head injuries to this day, are all being prosecuted, yet the man who instigated it, who was who was starting the violence, for some reason, the FBI is no longer interested in him.
Schafer has spoken to prosecutors, and spoken to defense attorneys, because obviously it is his footage, Schafer was a key witness. He was there. And if there was anybody that he would pick out as a journalist and say, ‘That’s the man who would be key suspect number one.’ However, for some reason, the federal government says, ‘Well, we’re just not interested in him.'”
So there is a lot of tape from the night before where we see people being encouraged to break the law and to break into the Capitol, and people clearly think that Ray Epps is a federal agent, they actually call him that in some of the footage. And with his own eyes, Schafer saw this same man encouraging people.
Schafer describes Ray Epps as “a man on a on a bullhorn or a megaphone and he was yelling to people to 1776 the front gate.”
Schafer further explains that people were not going along, though people were kind of like, ‘oh, man,’ they started saying ‘you’re Antifa!’ And then they started yelling at him.
So people were not going along with acts of violence or encouraging to escalate things.
Violence did not escalate until, the person who is now identified as Ray Epps began whispering in the ears of certain individuals, and this appears to lead immediately after to the escalation of violence.
Elijah Schafer is saying this in public, it’s on videotape, and Ray Epps has not been indicted.
And no one in the Justice Department will explain why.
And anyone who asked the question “Who is Ray Epps, and what is his involvement?” is denounced as some sort of conspiracy theorist.
We are at the point where conspiracy theories are starting to sound like spoiler alerts.
